About us

Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church online. We are a medium-sized congregation that follows the traditional style of the Presbyterian worship service, which includes congregational participation through prayers, confessions, responses, and the singing of hymns. Our communion is open to all who believe in Jesus Christ.

The congregation of Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian welcomes you with open arms, and we hope you will soon worship with us and become part of our family. If you would like a visit from our pastor or welcoming committee, please contact us.

What We Value

Teaching - We seek to be mature Christians who can discern right from wrong.

Thankfulness - We are grateful to God for all blessings in all circumstances.

Confidence - Understanding Biblical truth provides us confidence in ourselves and God's eternal plan.

Leadership - We are servants of the church, each other, and the community.

Love - We love God with all that we have and love others as God loves us.

Our program is designed for grades six through twelve.

Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry exists to joyfully and actively lead God's children to love Jesus.

On Sunday mornings at 9:30, the children have Sunday School for all ages. During our worship service, children fifth grade and younger are invited to come forward for a Children's Message. Afterward, those aged 3-10 are welcome to attend our Worship and Wonder program in a uniquely kinesthetic worship environment.

On Wednesday evenings, children are invited to participate in our W.O.W. program that includes food, fellowship and Bible study for all ages.

Throughout the year we have many other programs and activities for our children including Vacation Bible School every summer, presbytery-wide church camp, and recreational trips such as a day at the Nashville Zoo.

Preschool

Cumberland Presbyterian Preschool seeks to provide a setting in which children are shown God's love in a safe, loving environment. This is done through age appropriate activities that will develop each individual child's spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth.

The preschool is a Tuesday/Thursday program that operates from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and consists of preschool classes designed for the preschool-aged child and pre-kindergarten classes for students anticipating kindergarten.

Interested in enrolling your child? Contact us through our webform or our email for more information and availability.
