Steve Louder, Pastor

Steve became pastor of this congregation in October 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Bethel College (McKenzie, TN) and a Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary. He has served congregations in Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee.

He and his wife, Paula, have three children and five grandchildren.

Stewart Salyer, Pastoral Assistant

Stewart became pastoral assistant in February 2008. He is an Austin Peay State University graduate and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.

He is married to Nancy and is the proud father of two and the proud grandfather of three.

Martha Hutchinson Rucker, Children's Church Director

Martha joined the staff of the Clarksville CP Church in early 2010 as Director of Children's Church, leading a structured worship for our children ages 3-10. She holds a bachelor's degree in Religion/Philosophy from Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina, and a Master of Divinity from Lexington Theological Seminary. Martha is a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains and a Certified Thanatologist with the Association of Death Education and Counseling.

She currently works as a Board Certified Chaplain at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Martha is a wife and mother of two.

Paula Louder, Director of Music

Paula has served as Director of Music since early 2007. Besides leading the choir, organizing and directing the Easter and Christmas Cantatas, and working with the children's choir, Paula is also a 6th grade teacher at Rossview Middle School. She holds a bachelor's degree in music from Bethel College and a Master of Education from Murray State.

Elaine Bogard, Organist

Elaine has played in numerous churches throughout the Montgomery County and Ft. Campbell area, and served as organist at the Clarksville CP Church for nearly 40 years. Elaine studied music at the Conservatory of Music in Dayton, Ohio, Peabody College in Nashville, Tennessee and Austin Peay State University where she completed the Bachelor of Music degree with organ being her primary instrument. She also did graduate studies in piano and composition at APSU.

Elaine is an independent music teacher and has had quite a few award winning students in both piano and composition.

Ethebet Gibson, Pianist

Ethebet has been playing the piano for our congregation for over 15 years not only in worship, but for cantatas, weddings, funerals, and special services.

Ethebet holds a master's degree in Music from The University of Southern Mississippi and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She has a private counseling practice here in Clarksville.

Kimberly Forsythe, Nursery Attendant

Kimberly has been watching, teaching and loving our babies since 2009. Originally from Nashville, she is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Special Education at Austin Peay State University.

Kayla Cole, Nursery Attendant

Kayla joined the nursery staff in early 2010. She is a Clarksville native and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Austin Peay State University.

Barbara Sykes, Office Administrator

Barbara has been serving the church since June 1998. In addition to her general duties as Office Administrator, she is also responsible for publishing the Sunday bulletin and the weekly newsletter. She and her husband Dickie are members of the Tennessee Ridge United Methodist church.
